The anonymous street artist Hellstrom Street Art mixes Pippi Longstocking and other icons from childhood with Håkan Hellström’s texts in an inner struggle to find peace and an outer struggle to place his works where he believes they belong among us. From creative mornings in the studio to nights with the brush soaked in wallpaper paste and watchful eyes over his shoulder, he has taken his art from the streets of Stockholm, Gothenburg, Berlin, Bergen and Budapest to the art galleries. Anonymity is more than an artistic expression, it is just as much the search for oneself.
