Izabela Apananska is a multi-disciplinary artist working in diverse mediums and
materials ranging from painting and video, to sculpture and site-specific
installations. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow ( Ph.D.)
The two-time laureate of scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National
Heritage of the Republic of Poland ( 2015, 2020) . Apananska is the author of
eight individual exhibitions and took part in about forty group art shows. The
leitmotif of her works is the widely understood problem of memory.
